Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrives in UB.
GMN staff will meet you at the exit of airport customs or train station and transfer to your hotel by GMN vehicle. Hotel Half Day City Tour: 2hr city tour in UB guided by GMN staff. Then attend one of Museums of Natural History Museum, National History Museum or Gandan Monastery. Then you will have Mongolian national cousin for lunch (or dinner) together with GMN guide.
Day 2: UB Exotic Nature Tourist Camp
Depart from UB by GMN vehicle and drive to our Exotic Nature Tourist Camp located on a hill at the bank of Tuul river.After lunch trekking/horse riding/biking/yak riding or yak cart riding to explore the surroundings, climb up the hill observing the whole view of Gorhi Terelj National Park or go down to the river to relax at the beach or swim.
This is a wonderful place for meditation. Visit a nomadic family and explore their lifestyle including make of diary products and Mongolian national vodka. It will be real fun if you try to do them yourself and taste them.Late evening setup a small fire and talk funny stories. If you are a lover of song, you can sing as load as you want, as there is almost nobody else but you at the beach. A guitar is also available at request.As well skiing, skating, sledging, snow boarding and playing an ice anklebone game is available in winter season.
Day 3: Camp Terelj National Park Camp
After breakfast trek to Gorhi Terelj National Park. Climb up the Cave of a Hundred Monks, Turtle Rock and a monastery; trekking and hiking; camel riding. Take away lunch on the way. Late afternoon come back to the camp and enjoy Mongolian national barbeque and the second night at the camp.
Day 4: Camp UB - Hotel - Cultural Performance
After breakfast drive back to UB and check into a hotel. Free time until 4pm. At 4.30pm, GMN staff will pick you up from your hotel and go to see cultural performance. After performance you will have a dinner together with the guide.
