2 Weeks Trip:
This tour is an extended Karakorum and Taihar Tour, where you will enjoy the National Park of Horgo mountain and the lake of Terhin Tsagaan Nuur. Mountain Horgo is a extinct volcano covered with basalt, larches and wild berries. Red deer, Siberian Deer, Wild Boar Ruddy Shelduck and Duck are found here. Great Cormorant are common in summertime, flying and nesting on the hills of lake Terhin Tsagaan Nuur. The lake is astonishingly beautiful lake with crystal clear fresh water. While enjoying the beauty of the lake you have the chance to fish for long time and small pikes.

Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Ulaanbaatar, meet at Buyant Uhaa airport, transfer to hotel, city tour: Natural history museum and Zaisan memorial.
Day 2: Morning City Tour: Gandan Monastery. After lunch drive to Elsen Tasarhai (290 km), the stunning sand dunes, streams and rocky mountains. Overnight at Ger Camp.
Day 3: Drive to Karakorum (80 km). Visit the historic site–Erdene-Zuu monastery from the 16th century and its surroundings like ruins of Tumen Amgalant Palace of Ogoodei Haan and the Phallic Pock. After lunch drive to Tsetserleg town (130 km), center of Ar-Hangai Province. Overnite in a tent on the way.
Day 4: Arrive at Tsetserleg township. Visit surroundings of Tsetserleg town: Ethnography Museum established on the ruin of Zayain Huree monastery. Overnight at the town.
Day 5: Trekking in Tsagaan Davaa of Bulgan Mountain and hiking around. There are rare plants, deer, musk deer, wild boar, black grose and magpie in the forest. Drive to Ih Tamir river (25 km); Stop at Taihar Stone, a big boulder of granite with many ancient inscriptions. Visit to stock breeder family to explore the nomadic lifestyle of Mongolians. Yak riding and horse riding. Overnight in a ger camp on the bank of the river.
Day 6: Drive to Horgo, a volcanic mountain and the nearby lake of Terhiin Tsagaan Nuur (180 km). Overnight at a ger camp located on the bank of the crystal-fresh-water-lake.
Day 7: Trek to Horgo Volcanic mountain and along the lake of Terh and enjoy the beautiful National Park. Horse and yak riding or fishing. Outside BBQ in the evening and Overnight at the same camp.
Day 8: Drive back to Ih Tamir river (180 km). Overnight at the bank of river.
Day 9: After breakfast drive to Ogii Nuur Lake (150 km); fishing, boating or trekking at the lake. Or you can relax observing birds such as white spoonbill, gooses and Dalmation Pelican. Overnight at Ger Camp.
Day 10: After breakfast additional trip to Orhon River and Toglohiin Tal (80km) to see a stone monument with ancient rectangular tombs dated from Jujan period is optional. Drive back to the Ogii Nuur Camp. Or you can stay at the lake and enjoy fishing, boating or just relaxing
Day 11: After breakfast drive to Hustai Nuruu Mountain (240km), via Dashinchilen, where you will explore Ruin of the Prince Tsogt huntaij. Overnight in a tent on the way.
Day 12: Arrive at Hustai Nuruu national park and explore the park and wild horses. Overnight at ger camp.
Day 13: Drive back to Ulaanbaatar (100km). Transfer to hotel.
Day 14: City tour: museum of Bogd Haan’s palace . Shopping and see Traditional Folklore Concert in the evening. Overnight at the same hotel.
Day 15: Transfer to the airport after breakfast
