You will visit Erdenezuu monastery, the first center of Tibetan Buddhism in Mongolia and the ruins of the capital city from the ancient empire and will also explore the historic monuments from the Turkish period 5-7 Century AD and the history. You will also have opportunity to rest at the lake of Ogii Nuur enjoying the natural beauty and fishing for perch and pikes. On the way back to UB we will stop at beautiful Hustai National Park to see the only true wild horses in the world - the Takhi aka Przewalski horses.

Explore archeological excavations of the ruin of Karakorum, the capital of Mongol Empire of the 13th Century, visiting Monuments of Great Kings followed by brief historical guiding. We shall also visit Erdenezuu Monastery built in 16-19th centuries. Tuvhen Monastery is built by Zanabazar (First Buddhist leader of Mongolia). It’s located on top of mountain surrounded with forest. 8-Lakes is a wonderful place for hiking and horse riding. The forest and the big mountain is reflected down in the water of the lake. Bird watching and fishing.

The tour takes place in Khentii province, the homeland of the 13th century conqueror Great Genghis Khan. Dozens of sites scattered across this province are associated with his life. This trip takes you up to Mt. Khentii at the northeast of the country. This place is covered in larch, cedar, birch and fir trees. you will explore ruins of Uglegch Fortress dated to the Qidan period or to the 13th - a4th centuries and rock carvings here at Arshaan Had Mountain dated to between the Mesolithic and the Upper Paleolithic periods. On the way back to Ulaanbaatar you will also visit Hodoo Aral, where the great chronicle, the Secret History of the Mongols, was composed. Three Great Khans, Ogoodei, Munh and Yuson Tomor, were crowned at the Hodoo Aral.
