2 weeks Trip:

This trip takes you to a very remote place of Darhad Depression hidden behind the high mountain of Horidol Saridag with snow capped peaks. You will enjoy greatly different wild nature and landscapes of taiga, tundra, forested steppe and mountainous area, which are located very close to each other. And then while staying a week in that remote wild nature you will have an opportunity to trek, ride a horse or just enjoy fishing. Rivers and lakes of Darhad Depression are very rich with Taimen, Lenok, Siberian White fish, Grayling and Paled, just waiting to be caught. We offer you private fishing sites with Taimen pools and guarantee the best possible catches! If you are a fisherman, and want to catch Taimen, this is a destination definitely not to be missed!

Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Ulaanbaatar, transfer to hotel, city tour including Zaisan Memorial, Natural History Museum, Gandan Monastery & Choijinlama temple. /optional/ Overnight in Ulaanbaatar.
Day 2:Flight to Murun town, meet with local driver and pack up the vehicle, lunch at local cafe, drive out of village, dinner and overnight at small village.
Day 3: Drive up to Shishgid River of Darhad Depression along the valley of Taiga and overnight in a tent.
Day 4-10: Arrive at the fishing camp. A weeks fishing at Shishgid and Tengis River, stay at the fishing lodge with full board and accommodation. (Fishing includes Hucho taimen, Brachymystax lenok, Coregonus laveratus pidschian etc.) Trekking and explore the wonderful site of Taiga. Visit reindeer family, explore the life of reindeer breeders.
Day 11: Drive back to Murun, via small village. Overnight at small village.
Day 12: Get Murun, transfer to local hotel.
Day 13: Flight back to Ulaanbaatar, transfer to the Hotel.
Day 14: City tour: museum of Gandan Monastery. Shopping and see Traditional Folklore Concert in the evening. Overnight at the same hotel.
Day 15: Transfer to the airport after breakfast.
