There are many places where dinosaur fossils, and flora and fauna not found anywhere else in the world are still found. You will trek in the most spectacular places such as Vulture Canyon, Saxaul Forest (or Ulaantsav) and golden sand dunes. At the same time, by this trip you will have a chance to visit the historic sites from the Great Mongol Empire (13-15th century AD). You will visit Erdenezuu monastery, the first center of Tibetan Buddhism in Mongolia and the ruins of the capital city from the ancient empire and some other monasteries. Also you will enjoy riding a horse in the beautiful sites of Khangai, such as Orhon waterfall and the 8 lakes hidden between high mountains. Discover the quite different nature zones and the different styles of life.

Karakorum and 8-Lakes Tour (Details)
Explore archeological excavations of the ruin of Karakorum, the capital of Mongol Empire of the 13th Century, visiting Monuments of Great Kings followed by brief historical guiding. We shall also visit Erdenezuu Monastery built in 16-19th centuries. Tuvhen Monastery is built by Zanabazar (First Buddhist leader of Mongolia). It’s located on top of mountain surrounded with forest. 8-Lakes is a wonderful place for hiking and horse riding. The forest and the big mountain is reflected down in the water of the lake. Bird watching and fishing.
